Second grade is filled with many exciting learning experiences! Basic skills are expanded as children become more independent learners and workers. Along with academics, we focus on developing a growth mindset and recognizing greatnesses in ourselves and others.
Our main form of communication with families is through Class Dojo. Teachers post messages, reminders, and pictures to inform parents about what is going on in the classroom. Parents of students are invited to join our closed Dojo community. We also send a weekly newsletter home each Monday to keep parents informed about upcoming learning and special events.
